Transkripsi, Siti Nurhaliza’s much-awaited album, was released early this week, after a two-year wait. The album, her 11th to date, is special in more ways than one.In fact, the number 11 is significant to Siti.
“This is not only my 11th album but this year also marks my 11th year in the music industry.
“There are also 11 alphabets in Transkripsi,” said the popular singer whose date of birth is incidentally Jan 11, 1979.According to the pop icon, her fans were very excited about Transkripsi.
“The waiting probably made many want to buy the album. The two years gave me ample time to think of the songs for the album,” she said. Siti, who wrote two songs in the album, said all the songs were “inner thoughts of me and what I am going through.”
In fact a few songs like Biarlah Rahsia, Hati Berbisik, Intrig Cinta and Destinasi Cinta suggest a situation of a woman in love.
